For now she has brown hair... which is a 1st with our kids.

Our little family of 6

These 3 are constantly wanting to be the one who holds Mae next.

Lucy is a natural with her.

She takes good care of Mae.

I think she might even be more comfortable

with holding babies than most adults are.

Ruby wants to pet and hold Mae all the time.

In fact she calls her, "My Baby".

If you disagree with her, she will stare you down till you are brought to your knees.

(so don't even bother)

Max is Mae's body guard.

He mainly protects her from getting too much love from Ruby.

Funny, because Ruby has no one to protect her from Max.

We are loving our little Miss Mae!!!

This time we welcomed 2 fire bellied toads into the family.

Even though it's been two months since we got these guys,

the kids continue to get up on the counter and watch them.

I personally love their croaking... It's kind of therapeutic.

It is truly exciting to see what Lucy will

For the 24th we went to Oakley, Idaho.

Brian's (Josh's step dad) family has a reunion up here every year.

Ever since my Mom told the kids about Smokey the Bear and sang them the song they've been obsessed. It's their favorite story/song at night.

This train going around town was one of the fun activities the kids got to do during the 24th. They also played in a bounce house, went on a swing ride that takes you around in circles at high speeds (I rode with Max and would have paid money to get off), and went to the rodeo.

We decided we had spent too much time indoors July 20th.

Well a bunch has happened since the last time I got on here. Here are a few of them.

Lucy has lost her first tooth!!!
Her Papa Rob and Grandma Diane gave her a special pillow to put them in when the Tooth Fairy comes.

We got rid of our cable after this trip, because Lucy spent an hour throwing a fit.

We visited Camille. Lucy loved her dog Cecilia.
This is Camille's niece Nina. The kids had a blast hanging with her.

Nina has one wall in her room that is a chalk board. Apparently Nina is quite a character. While Lucy was drawing a picture of Camille's dog, Nina was drawing an alien shooting Camille's Dog.

Ashley got married on the 10th of July.

I feel bad, I only took one picture at the temple.

Guess who crapped his last set of underwear at the wedding... at least it was the end!

We headed to Seven Peaks and got rained out a couple hours in. I've never seen my kids so miserable. The rain, wind, and thunder would send them into crying fits. Josh and I think we'll go back when it's just us two.

I had no idea they would love bowling this much. Lucy would strike the best poses hoping her ball would hit something.

I had some paint left over from a project Lucy and I worked on for Thanksgiving. So since we were bored we decided to let our creative juices loose.

The both did a pretty good job.
I just wish you were here for the aftermath. The table and the carpet were nothing compared to the GREEN handprint right next to the front door. I cannot get that stain to budge.

A Visit to the Pool

Max is obsessed with swimming suits, for the longest time we had just one, we had to get more out of the 18 month box just so we had one for him to wear while the other was washing.

Some of Max's other favorite things include climbing and jumping and walking along this wall.

We have a sweet pool at our apartment, the kids are getting ready for a swim.

MARCH 13th we went to Peter Piper Pizza with the Manuele's. We ended up spending 3 hours there. Shocking I know, but if you saw how quickly and well they went to bed you would think it was a great strategy.

The kids loved this Basket Ball game. Check out where Max is. We spent most of our time trying to keep him out of there.
We didn't even need tokens for this one. Max just got a kick out of sitting in it and turning the steering wheel.
Josh might have played as many games as the kids did.

Josh decided to give me a break and take the kids on a hike with his class. He was the only one who decided to take his kids along. When he got there he could see why... it was a rugged trek, up hill and off the beaten path, but he loves to do crazy things like this with them. They all had a great time!

Thanks to Aunt Sue and Grandma Dorothy, we have the tradition of making Valentines day cookies every year before the big day. We ditched them this year, but if they are willing to have these hooligans in their newly remodled house, we'll be back next year.

One of Max's favorite things to do is act like a monster. He and Lucy will often walk around and growl like a scary monster. I got them to do it for the camera.

We all went on Lucy's field trip with her. This museum is completely hands-on and a complete blast for the kids. (I had a lot of fun too!)

Yikes Were Riding A Bike!

Our friends the Nailors gave Max this bike. It has proven a blessing for both Lucy and Max. They take turns riding it to the mailbox and back to the apartment. Max used to stop and try to get on every motorcycle we saw on this trip, but now he's content with his own.

Christmas for the Bromleys

This is Lucy's Preschool Christmas Program with the Tater Tots. I was so proud. She knew all the words and sang very loud.

Josh and I embroidered the kids names on their new stockings this year.

Why go all out for Christmas when a nice ball is all you need to be happy. Max has named his Bobbie (after his auntie).

Happy Valentines Day!!!

With the Holiday Season safely behind us, I thought I’d write a little family Newsletter and tell everyone hello and let you all know what we’ve been up to (Cause I know you’re all dying to know).

I think this is the first year Josh and I wimped out on costumes. For our ward Halloween party I was a dead bride and Josh wore a tuxedo shirt, but we couldn't bring ourselves to pull it together one more time.

I know every year is a year full of change; well this year has been that for us. We are now in Las Vegas and Josh is in his 3rd month of the Police Academy. He is doing really well and has an incredibly good attitude. Already 13 people have quite out of the 45 that he started with. Josh got himself a buck on the bow hunt this year. Hunting is Josh’s passion and I think he thinks about this nearly as much as he thinks of his family.

I am now pregnant with our third baby… a little girl (any name ideas would be appreciated). We actually weren’t going to find out the sex, but the doctor had other plans. I decided to start this New Year with a new hair do inspired by the pop singer PINK. I think Josh likes having a punk rocker wife. I’m still quilting and scrapbooking though I’ve had no time for it lately. Since our move to Las Vegas, I have actually started cooking. Josh now enjoys home cooked meals instead of cold cereal and take-out (Who’d a Thunk!). In April, Josh watched the kids for 3 weeks while I went to Egypt, Israel and Jordan. It was an amazing experience and I feel blessed that I was able to go.

Lucy is still obsessed with animals and you will often find her lining up her stuffed animals and teaching them or taking them on some kind of adventure. She is currently in Tater Tots… a local preschool. She gets her classmates to join her in games of “Tom & Jerry” among other animal. In September, Lucy got stitches in her chin. She didn’t cry at all at the doctor’s office (due largely to the fact that she would receive a present if she was good).

Max is a boy! Everything he does and is interested in screams boy. He loves tools, balls (his own included), cars, bikes and monsters. The only thing that would make you question this is that he wears his sister’s panties… at least he’s working on getting potty trained right!? Max has quite a vocabulary already. He loves to talk about books and games he and Lucy are playing.

This newsletter is now a blog. I needed something to start with, I guess this is as good as anything.
